Moving Georgia Forward

Our Story: A Legacy of "Number One" Results

In the late 1970s, James E. Simpson launched this company with a single dump truck and an unwavering vision: to be the absolute best in the business. What began as a small family operation with big ambitions quickly earned a reputation for excellence. From 1983 to 1986, Simpson crews hauled dirt and gravel for Atlanta’s iconic Spaghetti Junction. By 1987, our fleet of dump trucks had doubled — an early sign of the company’s steady rise. In 1993, the company added its first dozer and delivered finish grading for the new Walmart and Lowes stores in Gainesville.

That foundation — built on hard work, a can-do attitude, and uncompromising quality — became the bedrock of everything we do. We never chased volume. We chased perfection on every single job.
